Healthwatch East Sussex has recently undertaken two surveys to capture people’s experiences during the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown. This consisted of a main survey and a parallel version targeted at those aged between 11 and 18.

Over 2,000 people completed these during May and June, helping us to capture a snapshot of their various experiences. We are extremely grateful to everyone who completed the surveys and to those who assisted us in promoting it.

Whilst we interrogate the rich qualitative data that these responses contain, we wish to make available the headline numerical results for partners to explore and interrogate. Please find attached the results from both surveys. Each document contains a brief introduction and methodology, before going on to set out a breakdown of the responses received to each question.

Once we have completed our review of the open-ended comments, we then aim to share further detail and insight with stakeholders and the public.

If anyone has any questions regarding these documents or any observations which they wish to draw to our attention then please get in touch.
