Healthwatch East Sussex Annual Event
October 22 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
The event will be focused at engaging with partners, patients and the public on the health and care issues in East Sussex.
Everyone is welcome to attend, so do sign up and share these event details with your contacts.
There will be opportunities to hear from some of our key partners on local issues, as well as plenty of time to ask questions and to give your feedback. You will hear about our work and also actively participate in helping us in setting our future priorities.
On the day, we will be holding four workshops. The themes of these will be:
1. Social Care / Care Homes
This workshop will look at how we build on the learning from the last six months, while remaining prepared for future waves of the virus, to ensure our social care in East Sussex is fit for the future.
2. Digital Access
This workshop will look at how the sudden increase in the use of digital services (e.g. online appointment systems and virtual consultations with a doctor) has impacted East Sussex and how this can retain the benefits whilst ensuring services work for everybody.
3. Prevention and Social Determinants of Health
This workshop will explore how we can keep ourselves healthy as we recover from the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
4. Children and Young People
How do we start to meet the many challenges facing young people?
This workshop will explore how we meet their social and emotional needs with renewed co-operation and collaboration between schools, families and services?
When registering, you will be asked to select your preferred workshop. Spaces for each will be limited and if your preference is not available you will be allocated a different workshop. So register now to secure your place
A British Sign Language interpreter will be available during the event.
