In November there will be further opportunities for our population here in East Sussex, to share views and ideas about how health and social care services are delivered in our county.

More and more people require long-term support from both NHS and social care services, so we need to make sure they are provided in a joined-up way. Our shared ambition is to develop a fully integrated health and social care system in East Sussex by 2018, ensuring every patient or service user enjoys proactive, joined up care that supports them to live as independently as possible and achieve the best possible outcomes.

It is important to reserve your place so that we can manage capacity at the venues.

1.30pm arrival for registration and refreshments – the event will run 2pm-4.30pm.

Lewes Town Hall, Assembly Hall, High Street, Lewes, BN7 2QS

Access and parking information: The Assembly Hall is accessed via the entrance on Fisher street, the room is located on the ground floor and the access is level. There is also an induction hearing loop. Parking is available in the public car parks in Lewes, at the rail station, in the Malting car park next to Lewes Castle and on North Street. There will of course be some local focus on each CCG area but the core theme of all 3 events will be East Sussex Better Together. Therefore if you are unable to attend the date in your area, you are welcome to join any of the events; they are open to local organisations, groups and members of the public. Expenses

If you are a member of the public, offering your time on a voluntary basis, you can claim back costs that you incur. If you will incur costs in addition to mileage, parking or public transport – then please let us know in advance so that these can be agreed. We are unable to settle claims on the day. Please complete a short form at the event and you will be reimbursed by cheque in the post.
