Sidley Medical Practice

NHS Sussex's priority has been to ensure continuity of services and care for the patients registered at Sidley Medical Centre, and with thanks to Vita Healthcare, they will provide cover at the practice to ensure all services can continue.
Patients do not need to do anything differently unless they are contacted directly - patients should continue to attend appointments if they have them booked and continue to contact the surgery in the usual way.
Following the announcement, services did have to temporarily pause at 4pm on the 15th April and some patients will have had appointments postponed but alternative arrangements will have been discussed with each patient so they can receive the care they need in a timely way.
NHS Sussex recognise that this has been an uncertain time for the practice team at Sidley Medical Practice and we are doing all we can, with Vita Healthcare, to support them at this time.
Their main priority is to support patients and staff, and they will continue to work with all involved, alongside NHS England, to take the necessary action to ensure patients continue to have access to safe, high-quality care in the longer term.
