SAVE THE DATES – Webinars for Care Home Relatives

Healthwatch East Sussex will be hosting a further three webinars for Care Home relatives’ in early 2021.

Healthwatch together with Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SPFT) and Care for the Carers will be hosting three monthly webinars for relatives and carers with loved ones in Care Homes.

These will enable conversations and connections established at our Sussex wide event in November [Staying Connected with loved ones in Care Homes during the pandemic] to continue.

The first webinar is planned for:

• Monday 25^th January from 3 – 4 pm and will focus on the ‘Vaccination Roll out in Care Homes’

Followed by;

• On Wednesday 24^th February from 3 – 4 pm, we will explore the ‘Impact of long-term restricted visiting/separation from loved ones’ is having on families; and
• At our final webinar on Tuesday 23^rd March from 3 – 4 pm, there will an opportunity to join representatives from the Health and Care System in a Q & A session and discuss ‘What could and should the system be doing to support relatives and carers.’

The webinars are for you to hear from other family carers, contribute your thoughts and to seek answers to any burning questions that you may have.
