Helping to raise parents’ awareness of sepsis
The Secretary of State for Health, Jeremy Hunt, is launching a national campaign around diagnosis of sepsis in young children later this month which is expected to run until February 2017.
The campaign will support earlier diagnosis of sepsis by improving knowledge of sepsis and its symptoms, and when parents and carers of children aged 0-4 should seek urgent healthcare advice, directing them to 999 and A&E if they have concerns.
