A Fond Farewell to Frances
After 2 years at East Sussex Community Voice (ESCV), on 27th March Frances O’Donnell moved on to pastures new. Frances worked on the Public Reference Forum (PRF), which enabled the public to have a strong voice in the development of local services under East Sussex Better Together (ESBT).
In 2017 The PRF won an award from The Kent Surrey Sussex Academic Heath Science Network in the category of Lay Member Engagement. The Judges said ‘The East Sussex Better Together Public Reference Forum was selected because of their commitment to involving the public and patients in how they make their decisions. They go above and beyond to approach a wide demographic of stakeholders, often taking the time to reach local people who may not otherwise have been contacted through existing membership groups and networks, thus providing a much richer picture of what really matters to local people’.
It was a pleasure having Frances as part of our team and everybody at ESCV will miss her, we wish Frances all the best for the future.
