Changes to NHS Complaints Handling for Primary Care Services in East Sussex

January 8, 2025

From 6th January 2025, complaints about NHS primary care services in East Sussex such as GPs, dentists, opticians, and pharmacies will no longer be managed by the South East Complaints Hub (SECH) hosted by Frimley Integrated Care Board (ICB).

These complaints will now be handled directly by the NHS Sussex Complaints Team.

How can I make a complaint?

If you wish to make a complaint, you can:

  • Contact the service provider directly, such as your GP practice, dental practice, community pharmacy, or optometry practice, or
  • Reach out to NHS Sussex, the commissioner of these services.

Contact details for the NHS Sussex Complaints Team:

  • Phone: 0300 140 9854 (weekdays only)
  • Email: sxicb.complaints@nhs.net
  • Post: NHS Sussex, Sackville House, Brooks Close, Lewes, BN7 2FZ

If you’ve already submitted a complaint to NHS Frimley before 6th January 2025, it will be transferred to the NHS Sussex Complaints Team.
