Last few weeks to recognise outstanding care for the Peoples’ Choice Award
Is there a team or member of staff at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust who you think should be recognised for the outstanding care they have given to you, a close friend or relative?
If so, this is the last few weeks to nominate them for the Peoples’ Choice Award, giving patients and the public the chance to say ‘thank you’ and publicly recognise staff who have provided exceptional care and treatment.
Nomination forms are available around Trust sites and nominations can also be made on the Trust’s website at www.esht.nhs.uk/peopleschoice
The award will be presented each year at the Trust Annual Staff Awards event, so nominations are open all year round, with the winner/s chosen by a panel of judges. The Awards event is being held in May 2016 so to be considered for the 2016 awards, nominations must be made by 28th February 2016.
Richard Sunley, Acting Chief Executive of East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, said: “From the number of thank you letters, cards and emails we receive we know that many of our patients are very happy with the care they’ve received and want the staff to be recognised for this in some way.
“Anyone who works for the Trust can be nominated for the Peoples’ Choice Award, so if you or someone you’re close to has recently used our services and been particularly impressed by the care given by an individual or team, then please do nominate them. I know it will give our staff a tremendous boost to know that their work is appreciated and is being recognised in this way.”
