NHS Sussex has launched a new campaign to highlight the wide range of healthcare professionals working in GP surgeries across Sussex. The campaign aims to help patients better understand the different roles within general practice and how these teams work together to help you get the right care, from the right professional, at the right time.
NHS Sussex has created a video featuring the Foundry Medical Practice in East Sussex. They’ve also put together resources to help you find out more about the roles in general practice, including:
- Mental Health Care Coordinator
- Social Prescriber Clinical
- Pharmacist
- Pharmacy Technician
- Paramedic
- Reception Team
- Physiotherapist
- Advanced Nurse Practitioner
