Our Annual Report ‘The value of listening’ presented to the East Sussex Health and Wellbeing Board

July 23, 2024

Earlier this month, Healthwatch staff presented our 2023-24 Annual Report ‘The value of listening’ to local councilors and health and care decision-makers at the East Sussex Health and Wellbeing Board.

We highlighted:

  • a summary of our activities from the last 12 months and how we’ve used people’s feedback and experiences to support service development
  • our plans for 2024-25 and our progress to-date
  • the ongoing importance of patient and public voice in the design and delivery of services, especially when services are under pressure.

Health and Wellbeing Boards are a statutory mechanism for joint working across health and care organisations and setting strategic direction to improve the health and wellbeing of people locally.
