Your views on Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services (NEPTS)

April 6, 2023

NHS Sussex is reviewing the situation across the county for people who need transport to, from and between NHS healthcare and social care settings. These are known as Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services (NEPTS).

The aim of NEPTS is to ensure that patients who are eligible receive safe, timely, comfortable and clinically appropriate transport.

They want to understand what the situation is like for people who use NEPTS and/or their carers to get to and from their healthcare appointments. This will help them build a more patient-focused service and provide better support to the people of Sussex.

How can I share my views?

If you have used Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services (NEPTS) services anywhere in Sussex, then you can share your views and experiences through their short survey:

https://yoursaysussexhealthandcare.uk.engagementhq.com/embeds/projects/23309/survey-tools/23435

Once they have gathered your views, the findings will be shared with the people who are responsible for commissioning the service.

All the questions are optional and all the information you provide will be processed in accordance with the latest Data Protection Act regulations.
