The GP who holds the contract with the NHS to run the Cornwallis Plaza practice has resigned.  Cornwallis Plaza practice provides GP services at four sites in Hastings and St Leonards:

• Cornwallis Plaza Surgery
• Shankill Surgery
• Little Ridge Surgery
• Essenden Road Surgery

To ensure continuity of care and ease of access to health services, all current Cornwallis Plaza practice patients, who live inside the practice boundary, are being allocated to other nearby practices. Patients who reside outside of the practice boundary will receive a letter advising them to register with a practice nearer to where they live.

A letter has been sent to all Cornwallis Plaza patients, residing inside the practice boundary, with information about the local practice that you have been allocated to. This doesn’t mean that you need to go somewhere different to see a GP as doctors will be running clinics from some of the Cornwallis Plaza sites. The letter also has details of how you can re-register at a new GP practice, if you wish to do so.
