Accident and emergency services

Taken to A and E by ambulance in the morning 11:30, with fractured left knee, in considerable pain.
Left in corridor for several hours in a wheelchair. Cricket splint eventually jammed on in the afternoon causing terrible pain. Not shown how to do it so splint later fell off. At NO time was I offered pain relief, food or water even after an operation was discounted. Anticoagulant injection was done in public in the corridor. This experience to me was so beyond appalling that I looked up the latest inspection results. Unsurprisingly it was unsatisfactory and the issues causing that result were still all too apparent in the A and E department. I was collected at 7:30 that evening. Have had to resort to private medicine in order to get treatment and have just had a complete knee replacement.
