I recently had breast pain and was seen by a practice nurse, she was very reassuring and also professional. She made sure I was comfortable in being examined and kept me informed of what she thought should happen next. I was referred very quickly from the practice to the breast surgeon clinic at the Conquest hospital. When you are worried about a health issue it really helps to have someone who listens to you. Other than the usual issues around telephone appointments and face to face appointments that every surgery seems to be having at this time, I have always felt the doctors and staff at the surgery are professional and friendly in often difficult circumstances.

Significant deterioration and decline in services noted over the last 5 years since the loss of two significant resident doctors. Rude and unhelpful reception staff and inability to access advanced appointments. Not possible to make an advance appointment You can sometimes however make an appointment online THREE WEEKS LATER! Virtually impossible to get appointment on the day and have to tell all you ailments to the telephonist IF (BIG IF) you manage to get through. Difficulties in following the complaints processes and procedures.
