No GPs, appts hard to get, no feedback
Had abdominal op mesh all over front of abdomen, painful. Sent home with 2 dressings to be changed weekly, told back at work in a wk or so, arthritis couldn't change dressings, they stuck together, stuck them across abdomen with black gaffer tape to hold in place as had no more. No core support, couldn't stand up, needed crutches, used a broomstick couldn't support myself. Off work for 5mths. Finally got gp appt she was lovely, said should've had physio, too late now. Still having problems a few years on. Have painful hip now, walking awful, appts aren't available, no gps there it seems any day. Nurses not there either, they cannot refer nor prescribe either. There is nowhere else to go. Very low mood. Hip very painful, unable to go upstairs, sleeping on sofa, coping. Waited nearly a year for xray, not heard back from surgery re result. It is impossible to contact them, you have to go in person and stand at desk. We are all lost patients at this practice. Too much stress I want to leave, walk painfree and get a life again.
