HMP Lewes Prison Healthcare Department

Been left in pain .no Doctor appointment or any help for mental health........leave u in pain all day everyday............ Need to go and see prisoners personally and ask .....see what they say .....needs to be sorted as no duty of care .......not followed correct procedures etc treat animals better

My general practitioner completed an x-ray request form in mid June 2019. I put in an application to Healthcare. The reply was that the form had been passed to administration. I still have not been for x-ray - 13 weeks now

Had a cataract eye operation R eye at Brighton eye hospital in June 2019. - day treatment. Healtchare did not provide sufficient aftercare to administer eye drops - missed doses of eye drops and needed help from another inmate to administer drops for 6 weeks. Don't want L eye hospital treatment whilst in Lewes Prison due to lack of confident with aftercare

I have been here for 4 weeks without a mental health or medication review. I have anxiety, depression and split personality, how can this be acceptable. Roughly 3 weeks ago I was given a date for mental health to see me but they cancelled it even when I was asked to stay behind in my cell and wait for them to come. They told me they would re-schedule but never bothered

Resident on F wing and put in a request for mental health support. Was seen once and 'asked some questions'. No plan given and not seen since

Have been an inmate since July 2018. Never had a formal assessment of wheelchair suitability. Mobility has deteriorated significantly since admission.

Requested appointment with a doctor on several occasions since June 2019. To date I have not seen a doctor
