Received very good care

May 13, 2016
Mum was admitted to Milton Grange Mental Assessment unit from Eastbourne Hospital and diagnosed with vascular dementia. We were advises by social workers and mental health assessors that now was the time for her to receive 24hour residential care as mum was not safe to live on her own alone. Following assessment by the care home manager, Mum came to live at Rosebury Residential Care Home where she has been and continues to receive very good care by all the staff members who regularly keep us informed of her welfare.

Pleased with care

My father in law was placed into emergency respite care. I am very impressed with the care and compassion shown by all the staff in Rosebery House. They ensured he settled in and have monitored his well being constantly. He is diabetic and his diet is being controlled and his bloods have improved. I am very pleased with his care.

Loving care

My mother has dementia. For over 5 years we were able to manage with her living in a flat under our house. When she began to have falls we could no longer manage and she moved to Rosebery House. It was a difficult transition, emotional for us both.
I am so grateful for the members of staff who came to know mum and how they cared for her in her last months and weeks, so gently and with such loving care. They were with her in her last moments, even though their shifts had ended, her earthly angels keeping watch over her.

Good care

My wife was admitted to hospital very confused and with a very severe infection. She spent 13 weeks in hospital and after a CT scan and MRI scan was found that she had suffered a clot stroke to the left side of her brain. This cause " Stroke Related Dementia". Due to the lack of downstairs toilet and her needs for poor mobility with other factors and her needs for 24 hour care, she was placed into a local care home. The care home is very good, clean and tidy and very well staffed. The staff are very good and treat people with respect and dignity.
