They don’t answer the phone

January 17, 2024
I am in pain with my teeth and tried to call all afternoon, just says thanks for calling Clinic 43, and asks to leave a voicemail. Calls and voicemails aren’t returned. I have tried to get through for the last 1hr 15 mins this morning and sends me to voicemail which just don’t get returned.

I would usually assume it’s a one off maybe due to unforeseen staffing troubles although I have had similar issues before.

Excellent service

January 8, 2024
After attending an emergency appointment the day after Boxing Day, I was seen by Sofia I have received absolutely brilliant service.
She is a breathe of fresh air and took a genuine interest in my dental health.
The follow up appointments have also been brilliant.
I cannot praise this lady enough, thank you.

my crown fell out ,I contacted the office, the staff were very helpful and gave me an appointment the next day. I was seen by a dentist who was brilliant as was the nurse assisting him. My appointment was on 03/02/2023

Appointment cancellations and staffing

January 5, 2023
Appointments for my 7yo child have been cancelled twice in January already via text message due to loss of staff / relocation of staff. The problem is that the practice texts the patients requesting that they call to rebook but often you cannot get through to the practice. I explained this to the staff but there was little understanding or empathy. Once in the practice, the staff and treatment has been great - throughout the pandemic.

Nightmare

March 14, 2022
I went in with pain and was found to have two inflamed roots with both teeth recommended for extraction, I agreed and the procedure began. After three rounds of anaesthetic injections I was still feeling the pain, so in the end the dentist managed to extract the worse of the two teeth with no pain relief, but decided to leave the less severe as I had already been through so much pain.

Over the next few days I was still in a lot of pain from the other tooth which he left in, the extracted tooth area is healing nicely so it was not due to that, so I rang to ask if it was possible to be prescribed antibiotics to help with the swelling of the second tooth. I was told that the proceedure had been successful and that I was told how to care for the extraction... I repeated that yes I was told and have been caring for it and it is not the extracted tooth but the one he left, and was told very condescendingly again that "I have been told how to care".

So not only did I get put through the worst pain I have ever experienced having the first tooth out without proper anaesthetic, I am now left to deal with the pain of the second tooth on my own, but will definitely be switching dentists ASAP.

Would give no stars if possible

Good experience every time

May 28, 2021
The surgery has kept going with routine appointments throughout the pandemic (when allowed to open) and routine care has been great. No problem getting through or finding information needed.
