CQC publishes report on East Sussex GP

September 24, 2015

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has published a report of the inspection of Dr Amir Mir, previously registered at the Cornwallis Surgery in Hastings, East Sussex.

Immediately after the inspection in July 2015, CQC took urgent enforcement action to protect the safety and welfare of patients by suspending the practice from providing GP services from its premises at Station Plaza Health Centre, Hastings.

A full report of the inspection has been published at: http://www.cqc.org.uk/location/1-531783692

Since the inspection, Dr Amir Mir submitted an application to cancel his registration with CQC.  A new provider, Dr David Huw Jones, has taken over at the Cornwallis Surgery, and patients previously registered with Dr Amir Mir are now able to access GP services at the same premises.
