Donation to Therapy team at Firwood House

April 11, 2017

Bob and Gwen Pheasant from Pevensey Bay wanted to recognise the care Bob had received since having a stroke with a donation of equipment to the therapy team at Firwood House in Hampden Park.

The couple gave £250 worth of equipment including a Kardia monitoring machine to record heart rhythm and sensory balls for therapists to help people increase their arm and hand function following a brain injury.

Gwen Pheasant said “We wanted to say thank you for the tremendous help we have had from the stroke team. They have been fantastic.”

Nora Bessant Stroke Physiotherapist said “We would like to thank Gwen and Bob for their kind donation. The equipment will be used to help patients, like Bob, regain body function following a stroke.”
