Unhappy

August 4, 2016
Unhappy about the 111 service. A list of tick questions that don't establish exactly what is needed. Could have died. Should have been advised to call an ambulance. Don't speak to anyone with medical knowledge.

Helpful and efficient

July 25, 2016
I phoned 111 when I was unable to get a GP appointment for my eye.

The call handler was very helpful and was able to provide me with some great advice.

I was able to get an appointment the next day

Told by 111 to get repeat prescription at A&E

March 28, 2016
My grandson is on antibiotics. We were looking after him and the top of the bottle came off in his bag spilling all his medicine. As it was Easter sunday and he really needed the medication we called 111 for advice. We were told that the local walk in centre was closed and as the out of hours Dr service was busy we should take him to A&E to get a prescription! We thought this was ridiculous so called A&E who put us through to the out of hours Dr. They were busy so we tried to call the walk in centre and found they were open! Took him along and got the prescription in less than an hour. 111 were giving out bad advice. No wonder A&E is so busy all the time and the walk in centre couldn't understand why they were so quiet!
