Bad

April 4, 2024
Whenever I try to phone I get terminated then if you ever get through you are told at 8.50 in the morning there are no appointments. It is an absolute disgrace. The Dr's and nurse if you do get through however are very lovely but their booking system is broken.

What the heck has happened to this surgery

Trying to get a (phone) appointment is a nightmare (I understand that current times are tough going)
When you do get to speak to someone - they aren't listening and talk all over you (experienced this with 3 different practitioners now)

They seem to have gone from quite caring with good listening skills to indifferent (again I get they are under immense pressure currently) and wanting to get you of the phone/out of appointment as quickly as possible

Poorly run

Trying to get an appointment at Bridgeside Surgery is a total nightmare, staff are not understanding of circumstances nor caring. You have to ring every morning and if none available, ring tomorrow, and so on.Not easy when you have a condition that makes it difficult for you to get around.

No understanding of individual or family combined needs.

Never have any issues here

Our family is registered here and my eldest has a heart condition. I may not always get an appointment but i will always get a call and if im urgent enough i'll get an appointment. Dr's are always friendly and always listen to my concerns. The receptionists are always polite and understanding

Trying to get an appointment at Bridgeside Surgery is a total nightmare. You have to ring every morning and if none available, ring tomorrow, and so on. It's not always easy to do that. If you have ongoing treatment it makes no difference.

No understanding of individual needs

Started off very good but ended up leaving

Practice. Dr care was super for first 6 years. But since several incidents have happened. On top of all the new residents moving into Hailsham. This care was worrying that the care was very bad. So bad in fact I had to move surgeries. The GP & staff made me feel very ill by offering my med to late. Miss communication and long winded booking process that's become hard work and tiresome. For maybe a year I had care via a secretary. My GP was difficult to get appointments with. I just felt unsupported totally. Speaking to others these sorts of situations were not happening to them.
