Vaccine record error!
My teenage daughter had 1 vaccination in December but couldn't get her second as contracted covid in Feb. We have subsequently tried to book her second but her record says she's had 2 vaccines! It says one in September which she did not have! We are struggling to go on our booked holiday or get insurance as they are saying she needs 2 vaccines but she cant have the second vaccine as her records are wrong. We called the 119 service and it is appalling. There are long waits for calls back and they ask for information such as where she had the first vaccine (which she didnt) and go on about data protection or call you when you have said you wont be in. It's an absolute shambles. I have made about 10 calls and 6 complaint emails but nothing is done. What an absolute waste of taxpayers money! Who designs these systems? I understand an error may have been made in the first place, but why is it so hard / impossible to rectify. I have spoken to the Complaints Manager for the Covid-19 Response Service Complaints Team and I am still waiting, weeks later, for it to be resolved.
