I rang the surgery at about 11.30am , was first in the queue , spoke to a care navigator to explain my issue. She said that she would speak to the GP and call back. Indeed she did and I was given an appointment at 2.15 pm. Problem resolved by 2.30pm . We even had time to discuss the Ashes cricket!!
Very good - three hours from start to finish

Even if you ring at 08.00 you are in a long queue, to only be told there are no appointments available and you cannot even pre-book for the next day, so you once again have to go through the process again. This is very difficult if you are working, as sometimes just waiting for reception to answer can take over an hour!

Dr listening and helping to identify solutions that were non medication.

Seen by Dr Barrow following a telephone consultation. What a great GP he is. Friendly, easy to talk to and a credit to the practice.

Waited 30 minutes for telephone to be answered and told no appointments available, phone back tomorrow. That could have been said on the options list. Rang at 8am and after another 30 minutes wait given appointment for later. Saw doctor, very thorough examination and explanation of options. Had blood test and doctor rang with results as promised. Another blood test arranged for 6 weeks time. Had test, doctor rang the following day. Full and reassuring explanation and next steps to be taken.

A call to the surgery got me a same day call from a GP. The doctor was excellent and promised a follow up call in two days. In two days he called, and not being happy gave me an appointment within minutes.

Can always book apps in advance or on the day. Positive helpful attitudes from all staff.

Phone to make appointment get refused even my children with bad asthma. to point he ended up with chest infection. They never listen to the parents anymore.
