Didn't see own GP at surgery
I have dehydrated discs in my back and osteoarthritis. I was in pain with my back and legs and my feet were also swollen. I pressed my lifeline button at 6am on 29/12/15. The out of hours Dr said I should wait to see my own GP. I called my surgery to request a home visit as I couldn’t move/walk to get to the surgery, however the surgery refused my request – I had to call the paramedics as I was in so much pain. The paramedic took me to the surgery, and when I did arrive, I was seen by a registrar rather than my own GP – the registrar had to keep asking his own GP to make a diagnosis. I explained to the registrar that I had dehyrdrated discs and the registrar told me I was talking rubbish and the condition does not exist.
