Shankill Surgery

Never able to see a GP, when I did get through I was offered an appointment on the other side of town. When I replied my surgery is Shankill though, I was told I could go to the plaza if I wasn't happy. My child's immunisation was cancelled when I called the day before to confirm. They said the nurse would call to rearrange but never have and can't get through now.

Following the take-over of this practice after the retirement of my Dr early last year I have felt things have only gone downhill. I am now registered with a doctor whom I have never seen and know nothing about. It appears impossible to book an appointment on-line - "No appointments available". Requests for repeat prescriptions on-line often have to be submitted a couple of times before they are acknowledged. The one doctor occasionally available appears to be only part-time (? a locum). Now I see that the surgery will be closed two half-days a week. I attempted to register with an alternative practice yesterday but was told I couldn't as I was already registered with a GP in the same area. I seem to be caught in a real Catch 22 situation.
