No appointments!
July 3, 2023
No matter what time you call this practice you still cannot get an appointment with a doctor, I have rang again today asking for a 'future" face to face appointment only to be told that it's the doctor decision whether they'll see me or not!
Physio appointment waste of time
April 12, 2023
I attended a pre-booked physio appointment for recurrent back pain. The physiotherapist seemed dismissive of anything I had to say, and did not even examine me. He said there was no point in referring for imaging to assess for degenerative problems as the pain management would be the same. It seems knowing whether you have a degenerative issue or not is no longer important, and neither is a physical exam to check for any obvious issues. I asked about pain relief and was again dismissed as the NHS website advises ibuprofen which I cannot take. I came out wanting to cry and have to borrow money to see a private physiotherapist later in the week.
No appointments again!

Yet another text saying that there would be no appointments available for three weeks! Surely they’re failing their GP contract if unable to offer appointments?
Can’t get even a phone appointment!
May 13, 2022
Despite phoning up at 8.30am for now two weeks, I can’t get even a telephone appointment. I get into a queue and by the time I get through to a receptionist all the appointments for that day have gone and I’m not allowed to book in advance.
GP practice only had one flu vaccine clinic
November 26, 2021
They were also not doing covid booster jabs when I enquired and directed me to 119. When I got my invitation by letter I went online to search for local clinics and was directed to Flimwell, Rye, Tunbridge Wells, Brighton or Sevenoaks. My local paper alerted me to the Sovereign Harbour Community Centre, which I had not known about, so I was able to get it there, as a walk-in. But no-one else told me this was available.
Impossible to get an appointment
August 3, 2021
Tried for an hour and half to get through on the phone only to be told they are only doing phone appointments but that all the appointments for that day had gone and was told to try again tomorrow. When I explained what the issue was she said that because my condition was chronic rather than urgent I would be unlikely to be offered an appointment! I feel totally failed by this practice.

Gone downhill since autumn 2019
May 16, 2021
My Dr retired just as i had been diagnosed with underactive thyroid , borderline type 2 diabetes Autumn 2019. My blood test was cancelled due to c-19 in March 2020. I have had no invites for testing my levels , I have no Dr . My health is deteriorating and my anxiety is increasing. After 30 years at this practice , I feel I have been forgotten and failed by the practice.
Impossible to get appointment with named GP
May 11, 2019
Couldn’t get an appointment despite trying for over a week, finally got an appointment with one of the other GPs only to be told when I saw her that she couldn’t help me and I would need to make an appointment with my own GP! What a waste of everyone’s time!
Cannot get appointment
April 4, 2018
Impossible to get an appointment, finally got through on the phone only to be told no appointments this week or next week! Was offered a GP phone call, accepted that only to be told that they wouldn’t be able to ring until next week! I can’t help feeling that this practice has more patients than they can cope with.
