Tried for 3 days for someone to answer.

BAD. Tried 3 days to get through, to be told I couldn’t speak to Dr that day as their appointments had gone, not in tomorrow, try Mon which I did and again on Wed no one answered, will be changing.
I haven't been able to get through.

Husband had to drop of a letter. GP called the next day, but wasn't interested in my condition and told me to call back if I have another attack. If they'd looked at my record, they'd know it has been an ongoing problem and I need a diagnosis or referral. Asked what I could eat. Was told toast. That's it. No reasonable standard of care at all. Previous to this, I did get an appointment an referral for an endoscopy two years ago. Sample taken. Practice texted me a prescription with no explanation, no follow-up. Now on Omeprazole without being checked on for two years.
Believe surgery is closed

Been told by neighbors that surgery closed and merged elsewhere. I have had no information or letter about this matter. I am over 70 and feel that I should have had a letter. Not sure what to do now and feel very let down as an Oap. I have no phone number to call for an appointment so basically its like I dont have a gp.
39 minutes to answer phone.

Have received a letter to book a routine cervical screening. I called at 4:50 and am told every few minutes. The line is busy and your call is being placed in a queue and will be answered shortly. I have no idea of how many people In front of me or the estimated waiting time. As this is near closing time you would think they are not as busy now. A better phone system could be in place as this is a huge problem in Peacehaven at the moment.

I cannot get through the GP surgery to request an appointment after several attempts at different days and times (8 am and 2 pm). This has largely impacted my mental health issues and I was forced to rely on private counselling to go through the rough path. According to other patients, you can do an online request, but this is not acceptable as not everyone will have the capacity or the IT needed. Very disappointed service.

There are too many situations to even list. It’s impossible to get an appointment, the staff are rude and I’ve been hospitalised twice because I couldn’t get an appointment and my health deteriorated so much I was sent to the RSCH which is embarrassing because I work there. I was even told “you should’ve seen your GP about this weeks ago” but it’s impossible so???

I used the online econsult form to give details of my health concerns, this resulted in a callback within 48 hours and then a same day appointment. Very happy with the service received during such difficult times.
Asthma flair up related

My daughter was very poorly at the beginning of lockdown and under Normal circumstances it would have been a hospital admission as she had a severe asthma flair up. Dr Byrne and Dr Myers did everything they could to stop this as we were worried of the covid risks on top of the uncontrolled asthma. Some days we had up to 4 calls a day from the doctors. Dr Byrne took ownership straight away and was amazing, changing her medication step by step and checking in regularly and on the days he was not in Dr Myers did a great job of checking in with us etc. Without them it would have been a much more difficult and scary experience.
Unable to get through to make appointment

i have never had a problem until merger with Meridian surgery, Have been trying since 2:30pm today 15 August 2020 to get through to make husband a blood test appointment as he has new tablets from Royal Brompton who advised he needs a blood test each month for first 3 months. Have tried both Rowe Avenue numbers and Meridian number and they are all constantly engaged. Will now have to go up to surgery tomorrow to make appointment even though husband is shielding

Always friendly helpful and professional. Have been with them since 1978 through many health problems and some enduring could not ask better medical care.
